A little about the Car
Well this is my dream r/c car and ive got it. I got it for £300. Its the widemaxx so its more stable and handles better. I got it from Bekra R/C In Newton Abbot.  Unfortunately it came with a Faulty ESC which is in the capable Hands of Traxxas hopefully under going repair. This thing is so sweet, its got 10 times the ride height of an F1 car and weighs a tonne. For those of you who dont know what an Emaxx is, lets say its the mother of all R/C Electric trucks. It has dueal fan assisted 550 sized titan motors and runs off a 12 cell 14.4volt battery pack, which is suplied by 2 normal R/C Car batteries. All of this is handled by a Novak 3 profile EVX ESC. It comes with a 3 channel pistol grip transmitter 1 high torque steering servo and a standard servo. This standard servo is involved in switching between the 2 gears, from a simple flick of the switch on the TX. Man i love this!!

What is Project Duro-Maxx?
Well the original plan was to get a fully aluminium blue Emaxx. But then i thought, no its awaste of money. So i decided to go for durability and performance. Ive decided go with RPM Arms, towers, and body posts. I've then decided on Some Alumium Blue Bulkheads. Also a Aluminium front, rear and centre skid plate. Also to stop popped shock caps, im going to go with 8 blue Aluminium threaded Shocks, from Fastrax. These look great but are £80. I will top this off, with a set of maxx mashers, RPM Blue-Chrome Clawz, and a Proline Escalade. I may even invest in a 3 Channel 40mhz Computer Radio. With the mone i save from not getting all the "eye candy" i will be able to afford more batteries. I run matched 7 cell 3300's, which are probabley the best in the business, but at £65 a pack, the yshould be. I'm very happy with the titans on 7 cells. But i may get some Kyosho Magnetic Mayhems. This should get me moving and moving durably.
